APTITUDE CLASSES
Chester’s funniest HIIT Class… probably. Our Aptitude class is one for everyone, combining a heady mix of bodyweight exercises, circuit training and if you’re well behaved, burpees! The APTITUDE HIIT Class brings the best of all worlds into one space, combining HIIT with equipment based exercises designed to burn calories and get you fit.
Alternatively you can use our spin bikes outside of these classes at our fully equipped GYM.
WHAT IS APTITUDE?
A mixed ability class that will work you to your limit, no matter your fitness level. Using a combination of functional equipment based exercises Aptitude targets every part of the body, developing strength & endurance and burning maximum calories.
WHY SHOULD I TRY APTITUDE?
We can’t just say it’s “one of the best Chester HIIT classes” because that’s not what you want to hear. What you want to hear is something about the experience of an APTITUDE class and it generally goes something like, “it’s fun, it pushes you and you feel great afterwards.” We actually asked someone for a comment and that is what they shared.
CIRCUIT TRAINING X BODYWEIGHT X EQUIPMENT
All of our other HIIT classes like, SWEAT and RISE (use links to these) are the creme-de-la-creme when it comes to HIIT training. Nowhere in Chester provides this kind of workout methodology. APTITUDE combines three types of training into one, 45 minute workout session.

No. APTITUDE is the class that gets you fit with HIIT training. You will also learn to have fun when training because it doesn’t have to be gruelling – although sometimes that’s what people want. We add extra weight for those people.
Anywhere between 500 – 700 calories is quite normal. However, if you want a more accurate measurement, best get a calorie tracker on and measure it accordingly.
We have exciting views of the Welsh hills and our playlists are amazing… We have really thought about the space where you’re working out, the types of exercises and rely on feedback to give you and every member the very best experience. We may not be the fanciest, but we are the most fun you can have for 45 minutes – at a gym!
Try getting fitter, burning calories, burning fat and improving your ball slams! There are so many associated benefits to HIIT training and APTITUDE forms part of that.
