Terms and Conditions

FACILITY ACCESS

  • Every member must scan in using the barcode on their app at reception before entering the gym or class studio
  • Every member must have pre-paid for any session they wish to take part in at Aptitude Health & Fitness Ltd

CLASSES and open gym

  • All of our classes and open gym sessions are non-refundable
  • Classes and open gym sessions can only be rescheduled up to 4 hours before start time
  • All classes and open gym sessions require payment in advance in order to book
  • Late cancellations (within 4 hours of the start of any class or open gym session) and no shows will automatically be charged

CLASS PACKAGES

  • Class packages can not be shared
  • Class packages are valid for 4 calendar weeks from date of purchase
  • Classes will automatically be deducted from your class package
  • Late cancellations (within 4 hours of the start of any class) and no shows will automatically be charged to the package

UNLIMITED PASSES (INCLUDING INTRO OFFERS)

  • Intro Offer Gold Package including unlimited classes activates from the date of purchase, unless purchased before official launch date of the club where they will activate on the opening day
  • No monthly passes can be extended
  • Non-refundable
  • Non-transferable
  • Three late cancellations or no shows in a month and your account may be suspended if you do not adhere to these conditions

FOUNDER MEMBERSHIPS

  • Membership starts at the date of purchase or first booking if purchased before opening
  • In the event of forced Government closure, your membership will be frozen and any time lost will be added on to your membership
  • Non-refundable
  • Can be transferred with written consent from Aptitude Health & Fitness
  • Three Late cancellations of no shows in a month and your account may be suspended if you do not adhere to these conditions
  • Can be frozen for a maximum of 4 months on medical grounds, only with a Doctor’s note supplied to Aptitude Health & Fitness

ADVANCE CLASS BOOKING

  • You may book 2 weeks in advance for classes, via the booking app
  • You must still check in using your barcode so that we know you are in the studio
  • You may cancel a pre-booked class up to 4 hours before the class starts. If you do not, you will be charged for attending
  • Not all of our studios are large, so some of our classes do sell out. We recommend booking in advance for all classes
  • If a class is fully booked in advance, we may still allow you to enter the class once it has started, depending on whether there are any last minute cancellations or no-shows
  • There is a limit to how many clients can be in each studio. This can not be exceeded
  • For private PT sessions we have a strict 24 hour cancellation policy. If you do not cancel (by phone) or change your appointment within 24 hours, or if you do not attend your session, you will be charged the full fee

NON ATTENDANCE, LATE ATTENDANCE AND LATE CANCELLATIONS

  • If you do not attend a booked class or cancel with less than 4 hours notice, you will still be charged for the class. How the charges are applied differ depending on your payment method
  • Please arrive at the studio 5 minutes before your class starts
  • Latecomers will only be admitted into a class if they can be on the mat within the first 5 minutes of the class except for certain classes where the door is locked at the start of the class

REFUNDS AND CANCELLATIONS

CLASS POLICY

  • Pre-payment in full is required at the time of booking
  • You may cancel a pre-booked class up to 4 hours before the class via the booking app
  • When you cancel, by default your Glofox account will be credited with a session to take at a later date
  • If you do not cancel up to 4 hours before the scheduled start time of a class, you will be charged for attending
  • 4 weeks notice is required to cancel a subscription membership of any kind
  • Aptitude Health & Fitness reserve the right to refuse entry

MEMBERSHIP AND CLASS PASSES

  • All class packages have an expiration date and are non-refundable.

PERSONAL TRAINING

  • Pre-payment in full is required at the time of booking
  • Cancellations within twenty-four (24) hours of a scheduled session will be charged in full

GYM

  • All sessions must be pre-booked and are limited to 1 hour time slots
  • Late cancellations (under 4 hours notice) and no shows will be charged in full for the session
  • Monthly gym passes can not be extended and any time not used within any given month will be lost
  • It is the member’s responsibility to book their gym slots
  • You will be using the facilities unattended and take full responsibility for your own training and wellbeing
  • Our staff, agents and subcontractors are not medically trained and should you have any concerns with your health and fitness you should seek independent medical advice before engaging in any physical activity on our premises
  • To the best of your knowledge and belief you are in good health and not knowingly incapable of engaging in either active or passive exercise, and that such exercise would not be detrimental to your health, safety, comfort, wellbeing or physical condition. Further, that you will advise us immediately should your health or vulnerability to injury change
  • You have read and understood these terms and conditions before accepting them below

WORKSHOPS AND COURSES

  • Pre-payment in full is required at the time of booking
  • Refunds for cancellations are available up to seven (7) days prior to the workshop or course
  • You will receive a refund minus a 10% administration fee to your bank account or a full-refund to your GloFox account, where the credit can be used for future purchases
  • If you cancel a course or workshop with less than 7 days notice, no refund will be available. You may pass your booking on to a friend at no additional cost. We must be notified via email if a friend will attend in your place
  • If the event is fully booked and we can offer your place to someone on the waiting list, we will refund the cost minus a 10% administration fee to your bank account or process a full-refund to your Glofox account where the credit can be used for future purchases
  • No refunds will be offered the day before or the same day of any course or workshop
  • In the case of a course or workshop being cancelled by us, you will receive a full refund, or the option of being transferred to another workshop or course of equal value

LIABILITY WAIVER

  • The information available on or through this Site, and the Services supplied via or in connection with this Site or at Aptitude Health & Fitness do not constitute medical advice and it is your responsibility to determine, through obtaining appropriate medical advice, that you are fit and well and that such contents and services are suitable for you. It is not our responsibility to do so
  • Before commencing any exercise regime, you should consult your doctor

  • If at any time during the class, you feel discomfort or strain, gently come out of the exercise. You may rest at any time during the class
  • It is important in any class or workshop that you listen to your body, and respect its limits and potential on any given day
  • I understand that any activity delivered by Aptitude Health & Fitness Ltd is not a substitute for medical attention, examination, diagnosis, or treatment. I should consult a physician prior to beginning any activity program, including yoga and pilates
  • I recognise that it is my responsibility to notify my instructor of any serious illness or injury before every class
  • I will not perform any exercises or postures to the extent of strain or pain
  • I accept that neither the instructor, nor the hosting facility, is liable for any injury, or damages, to person or property, resulting from the taking of the class
  • Aptitude Health & Fitness LTD reserves the right to change the class schedule, including cancellation of individual classes and change of instructor without notice

COVID 19

  • I do hereby expressly forever release and discharge Aptitude Health & Fitness and employees/contractors from any claims related to the contraction of the Covid-19 virus within the premises of Aptitude Health & Fitness, it’s building or surrounding area
  • Should I contract Covid-19, I will inform Aptitude Health & Fitness as soon as possible
  • I will not return to Aptitude Health & Fitness until I am confirmed as clear of the virus and will isolate as per Government guidelines
  • If I have symptoms of Covid-19 I will isolate and will not return for the duration of isolation as directed by Government guidelines

PERSONAL BELONGINGS AND SAFETY

  • Aptitude Health & Fitness ltd nor its partners, instructors and employees are responsible for loss or damage to a visitor’s personal belongings
  • No food is to be consumed within the studios
  • Only water in closed containers (no glasses or cups) is to be drunk within the studios. No hot drinks are allowed
  • In the event of a fire, visitors are asked to make their way to the nearest available exit

WARRANTIES

  • Class fees may be increased by Aptitude Health & Fitness ltd at any time
  • Aptitude Health & Fitness ltd shall give the Clients not less than 14 days notice prior to any such increases
  • Details of class times may vary from time to time
  • Classes will be available at the studio or on our website
  • When you are purchasing a class you are paying for a class and not an instructor. Instructors are subject to change without notice
